Should Notre Dame Get A Makeover?

A massive fire engulfed Notre Dame Cathedral during Holy Week in 2019.  In the aftermath, a variety of perspectives on its reconstruction emerged.

Some embrace a recreation of the iconic building exactly as it was. Others are open to a more contemporary design.

Some want the same materials to be used. Others advocate fire-resistant materials.

Some push for a rapid reconstruction. Others favor a patient, methodical approach.

The need to balance art, science, emotions, and even politics make this reconstruction project especially challenging.

Amazon Goes to Coachella

Amazon teamed-up with the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California to offer a special e-storefront on Amazon, with all of the items pre-approved by the Music Festival. It’s the first time Amazon has set up lockers at an event.

A new study by Gartner reports that by 2030, 80% of a typical project manager’s tasks will be done via automation and artificial intelligence. This type of program and portfolio management (PPM) software is expected to begin appearing later this year.
