Jaguar Land Rover Partners with Nvidia on Autonomous Vehicles

Jaguar Land Rover is in collaboration with Nvidia to develop vehicles that can drive themselves, park autonomously, and provide drivers with more information and software-powered features.  These driving technologies will be deployed in all Jaguar and Land Rover models in 2025, positioning Jaguar Land Rover to better compete with Tesla.

Amazon Tries On Brick-and-Mortar Clothing

Amazon is opening its first physical apparel store called Amazon Style in Los Angeles, in the latter part of 2022.

The store will have QR-coded clothes racks for customers to see item details, select items to send to a fitting room, and alert customers when a fitting room is ready.  The fitting rooms have touchscreens for customers to request more items.

Amazon Adds Robotics Manufacturing To Its Repertoire

Amazon has opened a $40 million robotics manufacturing facility in Westborough, Massachusetts.

The facility has 350,000 square feet of offices, research and development labs, and manufacturing spaces.  Mobile robots made in the facility will be used in Amazon’s warehouses worldwide for order fulfillment.
