Plant-Based Sausage Pizza in a Round box

Pizza Hut is adding to the growing list of restaurants that are experimenting with or adopting plant-based meat.

In one Phoenix restaurant location, for one day only, on October 23, 2019, Pizza Hut introduced a Morning Star Farm’s plant-based sausage pizza, and packaged it in a “planet friendly” round pizza box made by Zume, Inc.

If the one-day test goes well, Pizza Hut will evaluate rolling out one or both innovations to more locations.

Table Delivery at Chick-fil-A

November 3, 2019

Chick-fil-A is making dine-in easier.

It’s customary at Chick-fil-A to deliver a dine-in customer’s order to their table. However, the company is upping its game with a mobile app that allows you to order from your table.  As a result, customers can bypass standing in line.

Simply place your order through the app, tap your table number, and your meal will be delivered table-side.

Chick-fil-A plans to continue its high level of service.  The new app is an additional tactic to ensure a good experience when you decide to dine in the restaurant.
