Coca Cola Using Reverse Vending Machines for Recycling

Coca-Cola is working hard to improve the recycling rate of its cans and bottles.

From July 1-6 at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, the company used reverse vending machines to offer incentives for recycling their products.  The reward was a 5 cent donations to the Special Olympics of Washington.

In the UK, a similar approach was used, but in that case, Coca Cola offered 50% off vouchers to all 30 Merlin attractions.
